Share Your Story

Requirements

• 300 words or less.
• Stories should have a workplace element.
• Stories should be personal and first-hand accounts.
• Include a title and an illustrative scripture quote (NIV), that reinforces the point of the story.
• The story should explain the verse without unpacking it in entirety.
• Close the reflection with a “challenge.” This can be in the form of a question and/or encouragement for a personal application based on the story.

Formatting Requirements

• 5-8 minute video stories of God moving in the workplace.
• High production quality is NOT necessary, but we ask that you position your phone, laptop or camera in front of a window or natural light source and close to eye level.
• Almost all file types are acceptable. Due to file size you may need to share via Dropbox or Google Drive or email directly to communications@worklight.org
• When you send a video, please consider including a high resolution headshot of yourself, your job title (or former title—whichever relates).
• Please review our Storytelling Tips & Tricks for best practices when giving your story.

*Please note that WorkLight reserves the right to publish or not to publish any submissions. We also reserve the right to edit and repurpose the content for multiple uses.
