We must remember that Jesus’ declaration still stands. He didn’t say we might—but that we would receive power and would be his witnesses. Our job is to believe and move forward in faith and help our brothers and sisters in Christ to do the same. The workplace isn’t a place where we set this calling aside. Work is ordained by God, and he wants to expand his Kingdom everywhere—including in our workplaces.
