“Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35)
If we rely on our own understanding of what we think the Lord is asking of us, we will soon discover that our capacity is limited. We hear and understand God’s will for us through prayer when we receive wisdom and discernment. As Jesus says in the Gospel of John, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me.” Therefore let us surrender our life completely to the Lord, embrace God’s will, and abide forever in eternity with him.
