Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? (Romans 9:21)
Just as a potter works the clay on his wheel, the Lord is working with us in our daily lives, through good times and bad. Although we sometimes lose faith as we question God’s plans when we are struggling in our workplaces, Paul reminded us in Galatians 6:9 that we are called to persevere, finding our strength in Jesus: “Let us not become weary doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Be inspired by the stories of perseverance in the December edition of The Flame.
